An American, living in Northern California, Professor Hamel is visiting professor of strategic and international management at London Business School. His work as a consultant has taken him into companies as diverse as General Electric, Time Warner, Nokia, Nestlé, Shell, Proctor and Gamble, IBM, Microsoft and many many more. Governments turn to him when they’re grappling with tough challenges such as innovation policy, entrepreneurship and industrial competitiveness, and his latest project is to build the world’s first management lab.
